The Ophthalmic Research institute of Australia was founded in 1953 by a group of ophthalmologists passionate to advance eye research in Australia. 70 years later and now known as Australian Vision Research, we have distributed millions of dollars to improve patient outcomes and clinical practice.
Over the last few years we have consistently provided on average $500,000 per annum to researchers across Australia.
To celebrate this incredible milestone, we are looking for new ways to increase impact in 2023 and beyond; this includes larger grants and more grants awarded, to bring further development to the ophthalmic practice and ultimately help transform lives.
