The Chair’s Circle

Legacy Through Leadership

The AVR Chair’s Circle is a bespoke bequest initiative led by the Chair of Australian Vision Research. Through expressions of interest, it brings together a select group of ophthalmologists and supporters who share a deep commitment to the future of vision science.
These individuals choose to leave a gift in their will—extending a lifetime of care into a legacy that helps protect sight for generations to come.
Together, the Chair’s Circle honours ophthalmology both as a profession and a science, invests in future discoveries, and ensures the breakthroughs of tomorrow are made possible by the pledges made today.

“We seek to alleviate the burden from blindness and vision impairment through research that discovers new knowledge and improves patient outcomes and clinical practice.”
